As an Edinburgh Napier student you must read and adhere to the University’s Information Security Policies. 
 
The policies cover the use of the University's systems and services, both on and off campus and are there to protect you and the University.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Policy

This policy is intended to address the use in the University of non-University owned electronic devices such as smart phones, tablets and other such devices to access and store University information, as well as your own.

This is commonly known as ‘bring your own device’ or BYOD.
