  7. Service and Information Provision

You can expect us to provide:

  • Take part in any induction events and matriculate at the allocated time;
  • Read and comply with the Tuition Fees Policy.  If funded - provide evidence of sponsorship. If self-funded - ensure payment is made at the time agreed with the Finance department;
  • Keep to administrative deadlines around module choices, assessments, appeals, graduation and other key processes;
  • Keep your personal details up to date via eStudent Records.
  • Tell the appropriate person if you are having problems or are in need of support.
  • Use the resources available to you and
  • Take responsibility for finding information and r​esolving any problems yourself if possible; 
  • Respect the rights of other students and staff in everything you do;
  • Complete the relevant paperwork when you use a service and keep to any deadlines;
  • Adhere to any legal obligations you have, such as accommodation tenancy agreements, code of conduct etc.;
  • Take reasonable steps to stay healthy and to make sure that you are registered with a Doctor and Dentist;
  • Provide feedback on the services you have used;
  • Follow advice from University staff or emergency services if there is an emergency.

  • Be proactive in preparing for employment and participate in the personal development activities offered;
  • Use the resources available to you to build awareness of potential careers and the skills that you require;
  • Be professional in your contact with employers and others;
  • Tell us if you cannot keep an appointment or attend an event you have signed up for;
