Armed Forces Community: Big Day Out

Looking for a fun, free day out with lots to see and do? Join us at Craiglockhart for a celebration of our Armed Forces community with music, activities, and something for everyone to enjoy!

Hosted by Edinburgh Napier's Centre for Military Research, Education, and Public Engagement and Scotland's Veterans Wellbeing Alliance (SVWA), the event features pipe bands, the 'Brave Hounds' dog show and even a Forces Got Talent competition. You can also take part in the treasure hunt, get creative with arts and crafts, and enjoy outdoor games.

You can even explore some local history with guided tours of the War Poets Collection, an important literary and historic site right here on campus.

It's all completely free and open to students, families and the wider community - we hope to see you there!
