What is Residence Life?

Residence Life is a programme of support and events aimed at ensuring all Edinburgh Napier students benefit from the university experience and have all the available resources to help them succeed personally, socially and academically.

Both our Student Accommodation team and Resident Assistants are on hand to support our students, whether it’s for informal chats or general advice. We run a number of events through the year, from information sessions, workshops and housing fairs to fun activities and excursions including sightseeing trips, bowling, and pizza and games nights.

Join our Residents' Committee

We are excited to have a residents' committee at each of our three accommodation sites. We're keen for our residents to use their voices to shape not only their own experiences at student accommodation, but that of future residents.

As part of the committee, you'll be encouraged to discuss topics such as:

  • Student accommodation policies and processes
  • Events you would like to see organised across the accommodation sites
  • Opportunities to enhance and improve the student accommodation community

As part of the committee, you will have the opportunity to quiz members of the student accommodation team, our resident assistants and our security team on all things student accommodation.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please register your interest by emailing reslife@napier.ac.uk, including a couple of lines on why you would like to be a member of the residents' committee and at what site.
