Bookshops in Edinburgh
Edinburgh has a wealth of independent bookshops. Many organise events and most offer click and collect or delivery. Look out for student discounts. There are also plenty of second-hand and charity bookshops in Edinburgh.

Out of print books
If a title is out of print, try one of these specialist search services:
- Abebooks - Search 13,000 booksellers selling 70 million books. Includes the facility to limit your search to the UK.
- Amazon - Try their Advanced Search.
Publishers
Try contacting the publisher direct if you cannot find your required book for sale. Publisher sites are also another useful way to identify forthcoming and newly published titles in a particular subject area.
Textbook rental and subscriptions
These suppliers can provide rental or subscription access to textbooks.
