The Scottish Government have made extra funds available to help students who are experiencing financial difficulties due to Covid-19. This fund is intended to help with essential living costs such as food, utilities and rent. This fund is also open to students who are paying for accommodation that they are unable to live in due to current travel restrictions.

The fund is to help students who are struggling through the pandemic with their basic living cost expenses. The fund is not available to support the payment of tuition fees.

If your application is successful, you do not need to pay this money back. It is a non-repayable bursary.

While we will do our best to consider all applications received by this deadline, funds will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. If you are a student from Scotland or the rest of the UK, please apply for this fund through the Discretionary Fund.
