Academic skills support

Studying at university is different from school or college. You'll improve your approach to reading, writing, and independent learning. It is important to develop an understanding of techniques and concepts like referencing, structuring essays and reports, and critical thinking and writing.

The Academic Skills team offers advice to all students, regardless of experience or ability, on these and other aspects of university work. Below, you'll find a list of useful resources you can make use of during your time at Edinburgh Napier.

*Available once you have registered at the University.
