Financial Support and Living Costs

Find out your estimated monthly expenses and learn what forms of financial support may be available to you.

As a UK Erasmus student, for the 2021/22 academic year you are entitled to receive an Erasmus Grant. Guidance on funding for students undertaking exchange in the 2022/23 academic year will be added soon.

Transport

All students have to pay a semester contribution, which includes purchase of the Semester Ticket. The Semester Ticket is a public transport ticket which allows students unlimited travel on Hamburg's public transport system of underground trains and buses.
