Registering at the University

Registration is the formal process where you register as a student with Edinburgh Napier. Before you start at the University, you'll need to complete this online.

We'll send you an email in December/January to your personal email account which will ask you to create your Edinburgh Napier password and set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all of our IT and Library Services. Once you've done this, you'll be able to access the link to fully register as a student online.

Check In

If you are studying on one of our Undergraduate or Taught Postgraduate degrees, you must check in via the Edinburgh Napier app to confirm your attendance for any timetabled learning event, regardless of whether it is taking place on-campus, at one of our other teaching venues, or online.

IT and Library Getting Started

If you've just started at the University you'll need to know how to access and use our IT and Library Services whether you’re based on or off campus.

Before you go any further you should work through the Introduction to Computing and Library Services. This is a Moodle module which provides information about our Library and IT Services.
