Using other libraries
You can visit and borrow material from other academic libraries, near to where you live or work by registering to use the SCONUL Access scheme.
This is a free scheme allowing full time postgraduate, part-time, distance and placement students to borrow material from other university libraries. Reference only access is also available for undergraduate full-time students.
If you need material from other academic libraries, you may wish to investigate Inter-Library Loan.
How to join SCONUL Access
Visit the SCONUL Access website for an online application and follow the simple steps set out there. When your application is approved by a member of Edinburgh Napier library staff you will receive a confirmation email containing details of visiting the libraries of your choice. Note: Any outstanding library fines should be paid before an application is made.Other libraries
