Ever wanted to learn a new language? Join Dr Tree Burton, SACI music lecturer and composer, for an inspiring session where she'll share her personal experiences of hearing loss and give you your first steps into the world of BSL.

British Sign Language is an official language of Scotland, and Edinburgh Napier is committed to making our campus a welcoming, accessible place for BSL users. Whether you're curious about learning to sign, interested in accessibility, or just want to try something completely new, this is your chance to start communicating in a whole new way.

BSL isn't just about communication, it's about inclusion, connection, and opening up new possibilities. No experience needed - just bring an open mind and get ready to learn something genuinely exciting.
