Exploring Swallowing, Nutrition and Oral Health: SONKS Research Event
ENU staff and students are invited to join the SONKS research team on 26 October for an event showcasing the latest findings from the Swallowing, Oral Health, Nutrition and Skills for Carers of individuals with Intellectual disabilities research project.
The event will be of particular interest to those with an interest in health, nursing, allied health professions, nutrition, public health, research and patient care.
Stakeholder engagement: your views matter
This event will bring together a wide range of stakeholders, including people with lived experience, carers, healthcare professionals, researchers, charities and advocacy groups, to explore the project's findings and discuss how they can inform future research, policy and practice.
Attendees will have the opportunity to share their views and feedback, helping to shape the next phase of the research and ensuring that future developments reflect the needs and priorities of those affected by swallowing, nutrition and oral health challenges.
The study is funded by the Bailey Thomas Charitable Fund and is delivered in collaboration with the University of Glasgow, NHS Forth Valley, Queen's University Belfast and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
