Check in and attendance at class

Ready for your first week of classes? Don't forget to check in using the Edinburgh Napier app.

When you attend any timetabled classes on campus or online, such as lectures, tutorials or other learning activities, you must use our student check in to register your attendance. Attendance is reviewed regularly during the trimester, and if it drops, we will contact you to understand what’s going on and may refer you to services such as wellbeing or academic support.

To check in to class, all you need is your Edinburgh Napier app. Open the app on your phone, click the 'check in' button, enter a unique code provided by the host of the learning activity, and you're done.
