Installation of Two-Tier Bike Racks – Merchiston Campus
We are pleased to announce that new two-tier bicycle racks will be installed within the larger bicycle shelter at Merchiston on 20 April, helping to increase the capacity of bicycle storage for students and staff.
The project has been made possible through funding secured through Cycling Scotland, supporting our commitment to sustainable travel and active commuting. The grant funding was successfully gained by Carola Böttcher while employed in the role of Campus Cycling Officer.
The installation works are scheduled to take place over two days. During this time, there may be temporary disruptions in the immediate area of the bike storage facilities while the work is being carried out. We will make every effort to keep disruption to a minimum, however, access to the affected area may be restricted for the duration of the installation.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding as we enhance our cycling facilities.
