Resident Assistants (RAs) are senior students who live within the residences and play a key role in shaping a welcoming, supportive and inclusive community. As part of the Residence Life programme, RAs help create a positive living environment where students feel safe, connected and supported. Each RA receives a scholarship that reduces their rent by 55%.

As an RA, you'll be someone residents can turn to for guidance, reassurance and support. Whether it's helping new students settle in, supporting those who may be feeling homesick, or assisting with challenges within flats, you'll make a real difference to the student experience. You will receive comprehensive training to prepare you for the role, including guidance on student support, communication skills, fire safety and emergency procedures outside regular office hours.
