Understanding our ENU Student Community Code
Our Edinburgh Napier Community Code was created in partnership between the ENSA and University and outlines the student values and behaviours we seek to foster.
The four values of the code (professional, innovative, ambitious, inclusive) mirror those in place for University staff, bringing the entire University community into alignment.
- Professional: Act and communicate in a career-ready manner, with respect and understanding for the rules and for one another. Work collaboratively with others and be accountable for your own learning.
- Innovative: Embrace creative thinking, be open to new ideas, and always seek out better ways to learn, solve problems and make a positive impact on society.
- Ambitious: Be proactive in your development, and strive to meet your personal and professional goals.
- Inclusive: Strive for equal access and opportunity by respecting and valuing diversity, and support everyone to reach their potential, regardless of difference.
