Accommodation

Exchange students will be assigned a room in one of the student residence halls. The Studentenwerk is responsible for these residence halls.

As a UK Erasmus student, for the 2021/22 academic year you are entitled to receive an Erasmus Grant. Guidance on funding for students undertaking exchange in the 2022/23 academic year will be added soon.

Transport

Public transport in Giessen is operated by SWG. A part of the semester fee, which you pay each semester, goes towards your semester ticket. It is valid on trains, metros, underground-trains and busses of RMV.
