Student Experience Ambassador Scheme

If you are passionate about supporting prospective students on their journey to university, then this casual work opportunity is for you. The Student Experience Ambassador scheme is ideal if you want a flexible role that fits in and around your studies to earn some extra money. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends from all over the world, whilst adding great experience to your CV. We are looking for undergraduate and postgraduate students from Scotland, the rest-of-the-UK and worldwide.

As a Student Experience Ambassador, you will be working alongside staff from International Operations and Student Recruitment to enhance the applicant experience by supporting a range of activities. These activities can include:

Answering prospective student enquiries on Unibuddy
Helping at on-campus recruitment events such as Open Days and Offer Holder Days
Supporting off-campus recruitment activities such as High School careers fairs
Taking part in photoshoots and videos for use in marketing activities
Providing student testimonials to share your experience with applicants
Answering web enquiries from prospective students via our CRM system

Disability and Inclusion Student Ambassadors

The Disability and Inclusion Team recruit six student ambassadors each year to support and promote our work.

The ambassador scheme is open to all students, but we are particularly interested in hearing from students with experience of disability and with an interest in social media.

Recruitment opens in Trimester 1.

Internships after graduation

Working for big or small organisations

Working in an SME often means greater visibility for your work, closer contact with senior leaders, and opportunities to develop skills quickly in a flexible and fast-paced environment.
