Keep on Track

Starting at university is an exciting time, but we know it can have its challenges as well. Moving into a new home, making friends, getting used to academic life and your studies—there's a lot to take on! And we know it’s not just new students who find university life a challenge at time, most people need support and guidance at one time or another.

Feeling unsettled? Don't worry - it's normal!

It's completely normal to feel a bit unsettled or overwhelmed, especially at the beginning of your university journey and when things start to feel a bit challenging. But don't worry - you're not alone! University staff are here to support you, whether it's as simple as having a chat or offering you more specialised advice.

Maybe after a few weeks you still don't feel settled in, or the experience is not what you expected. No matter the reason (or how small it may seem), you can reach out and speak to your Personal Development Tutor (PDT). They are here to listen, offer understanding, and help you make the best decisions for you.

Learn more about your PDT and send them an email to book an appointment.

Thinking of leaving?

If you're finding it hard to stay on track with your studies, need support, or are considering leaving university, please reach out and speak to someone.

Maybe you've failed an assessment, are struggling financially and dealing with personal difficulties, or feel overwhelmed by coursework and don’t know how to catch up. Or perhaps you've moved to an ENU programme from a pathway at the ENUIC and found the change in pace and approach a challenge. These things are completely normal and no reason for you to give up on your university experience.
