  One-to-one Guidance

You can receive one-to-one guidance from an Academic Skills Adviser on any aspect of academic skills from how to structure essays and dissertations to referencing, using citations, and preparing for exams.
We offer academic skills related advice and guidance on an individual basis at both drop-in sessions and bookable appointments. Students may attend any campus. This Trimester one-to-one drop-in sessions are available from week 4 and bookable appointments from week 3.

To get the most from your one-to-one drop-in session or bookable appointment please bring the following with you

  • an example of your writing and your assignment guidelines
