  One-to-one Guidance

You can receive one-to-one guidance from an Academic Skills Adviser on any aspect of academic skills from how to structure essays and dissertations to referencing, using citations, and preparing for exams.

The academic skills advisers can offer academic skills related advice and guidance on an individual basis at either drop-in sessions or bookable appointments. This service is available from week 3 at all campuses. You will find the Academic Skills Advisers’ Terms and Conditions. Please ensure you read this before your  meeting to ensure you know in advance what we can and cannot do.
