How to apply

Once you have decided which course you would like to apply for and checked that you meet the entry requirements, click the GO button on the course page of our website which will take you to the online application portal.

To complete your application you will need:

  1. Your degree certificate, or transcript if you haven’t graduated yet, if you are a current ENU student you don’t need to provide this as we will already have it on file.
  2. An academic reference – this can be an employer reference if you’ve been out of education for more than 3 years
  3. A personal statement

You will need to create an account on the online application portal, this means that you can save your progress at any time and come back to it later.

Your personal statement should be around 1 side of A4 and is your opportunity to tell us why you want to study your chosen course.

For your reference (academic or professional), approach someone you have worked closely with and knows you well. As them to write a short reference detailing why you are a good candidate to study on your chosen course.

Once you have submitted your application, start your application for funding. You don’t need to wait until you have an offer to apply.

You can submit the application without copies of transcripts, English language results or a reference. However, we would not be able to make you anything more than a conditional offer until you have supplied all of the required information.

Top Tip: Use the Previous and Next buttons on the form rather than your browsers back button.

If you have any questions or queries about applying to one of our course, please do get in touch with our Postgraduate Admissions Team at pgadmissions@napier.ac.uk
