 Thinking of Leaving

Thinking of leaving? Worried about your course? Having a problem with your studies? Life as a student isn’t working anymore, and you’re not sure what to do? Maybe you want to change course, or change university, or even just leave?

Many students think about leaving university at some stage during their studies. If anything is bothering you or you are thinking about leaving, please speak to a member of staff who can help you think about your options and understand what is best for you.

There may be other options such as additional support (perhaps advice on how to improve your academic skills), a temporary suspension of studies or transferring to another programme.

We can help you to consider your options. Your Personal Development Tutor (PDT) or programme leader will be able to give you guidance in the first instance.

If you would like to discuss any aspects of your approach to learning and studying then please contact the academic skills team at academicskills@napier.ac.uk

There are other advisers you may want to talk to…

A meeting with a careers adviser might be useful – they can help you to explore the career options of your current programme and alternatives if you decide you want to leave careers@napier.ac.uk
