Parking is available at our campuses for permit holders only between designated times:

You can park for free outwith these times and at the weekend.

Travel guidance during Covid-19

If you need to travel to the University, please plan ahead. Visit Transport Scotland for the latest Scottish Government advice and up-to-date guidance on public transport and active travel.

However you travel, please ensure you are very clear of the facilities available and rules in place before you start your journey.

Student Parking Permits

Student parking permits will only be available at Craiglockhart for the 2019/20 academic year. No student parking permits will be available for Merchiston or Sighthill.

For alternative travel options to get to campus, please visit our public transport or cycling pages.

To apply for a parking permit at Craiglockhart, you must complete an application form. If your application is successful, your permit will be valid for an academic year (i.e. August 2019 to July 2020) and cost £48.

You must reapply for a permit each academic year. Please note that a permit does not guarantee a parking space and that the permit is only valid for the campus it has been issued for - it cannot be used to park at other campuses.

All parking permits are issued by the security team. You can contact them by calling 0131 455 6119 or by emailing car.parking@napier.ac.uk

Parking permits for exceptional circumstances

Permits for exceptional circumstances may be available at each campus for a maximum of one month. Should you have a short-term personal need to park at any campus please contact the security team to enquire further.
