Visiting our campuses Covid-19 FAQs
Will I have to wear a face covering on campus?
You will be required to wear a face covering when entering and walking around our campuses. This includes corridors, lifts, stairs, workshops, toilets, and teaching spaces. You may remove your face covering when seated when you attend lectures and tutorials.
If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, you do not need to.
Will I need to do a test before coming on to campus? Will I need evidence of this?
All students coming on to campus should arrange to have lateral flow tests, twice a week. This will help to protect your friends and fellow students, and prevent the spread of Covid-19. Lateral flow tests are free and can be ordered through the NHS Inform website.
Students do not need to provide evidence that they have been tested.
Will there be social distancing?
We will be employing one metre social distancing in our campuses. This will be in public spaces and in classrooms. This is to make our campuses as safe as possible for our students and staff.
Will my lecturers do tests too?
As with students, we are not asking staff to provide proof, but we have been making staff aware of the importance of being regularly tested.
