  Audio Tours

Take a self-guided audio tour of your library or IT suite and find what you need to help your studies. All you need is a smartphone or tablet connected to the internet and some headphones. Students can use the university’s free wi-fi service, Eduroam.

Where do I start the tour?

Near the Help Desk in each Library or IT suite you will see a notice like this:

Scan the QR code with your smartphone or tablet to start listening to the first part of the audio tour. Or go to the link at the bottom of the poster and select the tour you want.

How do I get a QR code reader on my phone?

If your phone doesn’t already have a QR code reader app, you can quickly download one. Many are free eg. Red Laser for iphone and Barcode Scanner for Android.

If you need help connecting to wifi, see Wireless Service.

How long does the tour last?

It’s up to you! You can take as long as you like to do the tour. There’s no rush, and you can do the tour at a time that suits you during the opening hours of the Library or IT suite.
