Introduction to Mindfulness
The Napier Wellbeing Team are running an Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop. Mindfulness is an evidence-based practice that can help with stress, anxiety and low mood through bringing greater awareness into the present moment.
The workshop provides a basic introduction to mindfulness, including a brief exploration of what mindfulness is and background information on mindfulness practice. Throughout the presentation, participants will be invited to explore the experiential meaning of mindfulness for themselves by taking part in a few simple exercises that are commonly used within mindfulness training.
The workshop will last around 1.5 hrs and there’ll be some time to comment, give feedback or ask questions at the end through the chat option.
