Assistive Listening in teaching spaces
Information Services are working with the Disability and Inclusion team to install Assistive Listening technologies in teaching spaces across the University to aid hearing impaired users.
The technologies are being rolled out to 25 rooms across all 3 campuses, and will enable students to listen via a “Sennheiser MobileConnect” app.
To date the technology has been installed in the following 5 teaching spaces at Craiglockhart:
- Craiglockhart 1/17 - Riady Lecture Theatre
- Craiglockhart 1/07 - Active Learning Space
- Craiglockhart 1/10
- Craiglockhart 2/10
- Craiglockhart 2/17 - Lindsay Stewart Lecture Theatre
Installations at Merchiston and Sighthill will be scheduled over the coming months (dates are to be confirmed).
Further information about how to use the service, and a full list of rooms scheduled for installation can be found on the Assistive Listening My Napier page.
