New bike shelter installation at Craiglockhart

Work will begin on Wednesday 2 July to install a new bike shelter at Craiglockhart Campus, as part of continued improvements to our cycling infrastructure.

The new shelter, funded by Cycling Scotland, will replace the current bike rack on the right-hand side of the building next to the accessibility ramp. A security gate will also be installed on the existing shelter on the lower ground level, to the left of the building.

Access to these areas may be restricted during the works, and temporary signage will be in place to help guide pedestrians and cyclists. While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, some noise is expected. To allow the work to proceed safely and on schedule, all bikes must be removed from the exisiting racks by Monday 30 June.

Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to improve secure and sustainable travel options on campus.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Patricia Simpson at p.simpson@napier.ac.uk.
