Student volunteering opportunities with LEAPS
Are you an undergraduate student looking for some valuable experience supporting young people? Volunteer opportunities are available with LEAPS, helping deliver workshops in high schools across southeast Scotland.
LEAPS promotes higher education at college and university, supporting young people in secondary schools in southeast Scotland by helping them to find out more about their higher education options.
The organisation is looking for Edinburgh Napier student volunteers to use their university experience to help support workshops delivered by LEAPS staff in high schools. Volunteers will work in small groups of these pupils during workshops and share insight into university life.
The role will be based in high schools across southeast Scotland. Volunteers can support a many or as few workshops as they wish - there is no minimum commitment and workshops typically last a school period which is maximum 1 hour. Full training will be provided and free transport will be offered for school workshops.
