Referencing Guidelines

Practically all assessed work at university should be referenced accurately and consistently. There are many different referencing styles and guidelines. In most cases, you should follow your school's guidelines, all of which are listed below. However, you may study certain modules based in other schools, in which case you should follow the other school's referencing guidelines.

Be sure to review assessment guidelines carefully, as these will often contain referencing and other important formal requirements. If in doubt, please ask the relevant module leader.
