Welcome Week

Your Welcome Week activities consist of a variety of events to introduce you to some of the opportunities you'll have at Edinburgh Napier. It lets you know what to expect on your course, it will also include fun activities which will allow you to meet fellow students and prepare you for the start your studies.

Your course induction

Course inductions will be included in Welcome Week and it is essential you attend these. You will meet your lecturers and find out about the course, learn how to access computers and libraries, and find about student health and safety plus much more!

You and your course – We'll provide you with all the information you need to understand what you'll learn on the course. You'll also get to know each of your classmates through some fun ice breaker activities.

Getting ready to study your course – We'll ensure you're fully prepared to start your course. You'll find out your reading list and we'll arrange for you to collect any equipment you may need for your studies.

All areas of the University are working together to create a programme of activity to help you get settled into Edinburgh Napier University. Our induction activities will give you all of the information you need to get started, along with opportunities to network, explore, contribute and settle into university life.

ENSA’s Welcome Week

Every year, Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association (ENSA) organises a week packed with fun social events for new and returning students.

Activities include themed parties, speed friending, club nights, cultural tours and the Welcome Fair. These events offer a great way to explore the city, make new friends and settle in to University life.
