Film screening - Silent Men
Join our neighbours at Edinburgh College for a special film screening of Silent Men: The Awkward Art of Expressing Emotion, including a Q&A with director Duncan Cowles.
The event, open to Edinburgh Napier students, will take place in the atrium of Edinburgh College Sighthill campus at 3pm on Wednesday 10 December.
With profound honesty and deadpan wit, the film intertwines awkward conversations and the filmmaking process, asking what makes men tick, and more importantly, how to come to terms with all aspects of health, both physical and mental. Exploring aspects of masculinity that are little discussed, Silent Men opens the door for other ways of being, communicating and healing, as well as attempting to define masculinity.
Spaces are limited, so booking is essential and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
