Meet the bravehounds at Armed Forces Day

Join us at Craiglockhart campus to meet some incredible 'bravehounds' at the Armed Forces Day dog show!

Students, staff, friends and family are all warmly invited to our campus grounds for this fantastic event for Armed Forces Day, supported by the University's Centre for Military Research, Education & Public Engagement.

Bravehound is a Scottish charity that provides assistance dogs to veterans with mental health needs related to their military service. These dogs, and the support provided to the veteran and dog partnership, help veterans with conditions like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, and depression, fostering a smoother transition back into civilian life.

Entry is free, and you can even bring your own (well-behaved!) furry friend on a lead, with fun classes to enter!
