Sustainable Materials and Approaches in Film

In the context of the AHRC project 'Engaging with Sustainable Materials and Approaches in Film', Edinburgh Napier University and the University of Portsmouth are collaborating to bring you a series of free public events exploring sustainability in film.

These events include film screenings and a two day symposium that examine how sustainable materials and approaches are shaping the future of filmmaking.

• Wednesday 22 January: Film screenings at Cameo Picturehouse featuring 'Leonel & Lesli' by Paul Gray and 'Dance of the Seasons' by Professor Jaya Jayalakshmi.
• Thursday 23 - Friday 24 January: Symposium at the Royal Society Edinburgh on eco-narratives, sustainable practices, and innovation in film production.
• Friday 24 January: Screening of 'Itu Ninu' by Itandehui Jansen at Everyman Cinema.

All events are free and open to the public, but ticket reservations are required via Eventbrite.
