Electric Vehicle Charging

The ChargePlace Scotland network will cease to exist from 1 January 2026. To support access to the existing electric vehicle charging points at Edinburgh Napier, the University has selected Evolt Charging as the new infrastructure service provider.

From 1 January 2026 the following charging point payment options will be available:

Craiglockhart

You will require an Evolt Charging membership card to access the charging point and pay. Unfortunately the current charging point cannot process debit or credit cards for payment.

Sighthill

You will be able to access the charging unit and pay via debit card, credit card or an Evolt Charging membership card.

Merchiston

The charging unit at Merchiston is out of service. We are currently investigating opportunities to replace the unit.
