Gorgie roadworks - plan ahead for travel delays

Students travelling to and from Sighthill campus are advised to plan ahead due to major roadworks on Gorgie Road starting on Sunday 25 January.

Gorgie Road will be fully closed between Robb’s Loan and Hutchison Crossway from 6.30pm on Sunday 25 January and is expected to remain closed for around six months. This is likely to cause longer journey times, particularly at peak travel hours.

Several bus services that go through Sighthill will be diverted during the works, including services 3, 25, 30, 33, N25, N28, N30, X27 and X28. Buses will use alternative routes via Balgreen Road, Stevenson Drive and Stenhouse Drive, meaning stops and journey times may change. Check the Lothian Buses website for full details.

• Consider alternative routes or services where possible
