Lift out of use - Merchiston campus

Please be aware that the large lift near the main entrance to Merchiston campus is currently out of use until further notice.

The affected lift (L5) is located to the right of the main entrance and provides access to the teaching block. The smaller lift in the same area (L2) is still available.

Please note that L5 is the only lift in that block suitable for wheelchair and electric wheelchair users. While L5 remains out of service, wheelchair users will need to use the lift in the Engineering block (L1) to reach C or D floor and then access the teaching block via the link corridor.

If you require a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) to be put in place to ensure safe exit in an emergency, please contact the Disability Inclusion team at disabilityinclusion@napier.ac.uk with ‘PEEP Request’ in the subject of your email to ensure it is prioritised.
