Merchiston lift works

Please be aware that work is ongoing to replace one of the lifts in Merchiston campus, with some disruption expected.

Work will begin on Monday 23 June on the lift located opposite Room A17, in the engineering corridor. The corridors around the lift entrance will be closed on the 'A' floor, and partitions will be in place around the lift doors on the floors above.

Vehicle access from Colinton Road into the west side car park will be closed to through traffic during the works. However, once the contractor compound is in place, some parking spaces will still be accessible from the Mardale Crescent entrance.

The project is due to be completed by Friday 12 September, and we will keep you up to date on any further changes while work is ongoing.
