New Moodle course - how to study with academic integrity
As you approach your assessments and coursework, please remember the importance of academic integrity to avoid falling victim to plagiarism and scams such as essay mills. There can be serious consequences for you personally and academically.
We have launched a new Moodle course designed to help you:
- Understand what academic integrity is
- Recognise why it matters in a university setting
- Learn how to maintain academic integrity in your work
- Avoid common breaches like plagiarism, collusion, and cheating
The course covers avoiding plagiarism, referencing, practical tools, and what the consequences are if you breach the University’s academic integrity regulations. You should work through the content at your own pace, complete the quizzes and discuss any questions with your module leader.
