Sighthill campus closure on Friday 26 September

Following the power shutdown at Sighthill in July, further issues were identified within the electrical distribution network. As a result, essential maintenance is scheduled for Friday 26 September.

Sighthill campus will be fully closed for the day, with no access permitted at any time. This includes brief entry to collect items or equipment.

The building is expected to reopen on Saturday 27 September at 3pm, once safety checks are completed and all systems are confirmed to be fully restored.

What you need to know

• Any planned teaching activities on campus will either be rescheduled or delivered remotely - please check your timetable for any changes and email timetabling@napier.ac.uk if you have any questions.
• If you can study from home, another campus or other suitable location, you're encouraged to do so.
• Any bookings that have been made via Resource Booker will be cancelled. Resource Booker locations at Sighthill will be marked as unavailable on Friday 26 September.

No – Sighthill will be completely inaccessible on the day of the maintenance.

Will IT systems be affected?

All systems will be checked once power is restored. Any issues will be communicated promptly.

Will student services or teaching be affected?
