Temporary closure of library and workshop areas at Merchiston - 10 January

Due to essential building surveys taking place this weekend at Merchiston campus, there will be reduced access to the library and some corridors and workshops.

For safety reasons, the areas listed below will be closed to all staff and students for the full day on Saturday 10 January:

SCEBE affected areas

• A24, A25, B18 - SCEBE workshops
• B68a, B68b - computer labs
• AC08 - corridor

Library affected areas

• L1B - library zones 2-5
• All study rooms in the Zone 2-5 area

During the closure

• There will be no access to library stock, but Click & Collect will still be available.
• All group study rooms will be closed except for Room 8.
• Zone 1 will be open from 8–10pm

What's still open

• JKCC and Zone 1 at Merchiston library
• Libraries at Craiglockhart and Sighthill

The rest of the campus will operate as normal.
