Environmental Sustainability

We will achieve net zero carbon in our operations by 2030 at the latest. We will also seek to minimise both our wider and legacy carbon footprint and also influence sustainable practices within and beyond our campuses.

The information and links below provide a brief overview of our work, including areas students can get involved in. If you'd like more details on the full scope of our sustainability work and commitments, please visit our main Environmental Sustainability website.

You can also keep up to date with all the latest news and events by following us on Twitter and Facebook.

Get involved

There are plenty of ways you can get involved in helping Edinburgh Napier achieve its sustainability commitments, such as joining the Edinburgh Napier Sustainable Society or working with the students' association, ENSA.

If you're interested in biodiversity, we also have the Lions' Gate Garden, Sighthill Gardening Club and Hedgehog Friendly Campus project for anybody who wants to volunteer in making our campuses greener places to work and study.
