Finding newspapers
This page aims to help you find newspaper articles for your study or research. You can find newspaper articles on individual newspaper websites, but these sites often don't include an archive of old articles.

Finding newspapers online
Nexis UK is a huge database which has full text of a wide range of UK and international newspapers. It allows you to search by topic across a number of newspapers.
To access Nexis UK:
- Sign in to LibrarySearch and click Databases.
- Click on the 'N' and then click 'Nexis Uni'.
Finding hard copy newspapers
Use LibrarySearch to find out which newspapers are available. This will also indicate how long the back-run is for each newspaper, and what format it's stored in.
If you need access to newspapers in print, you may need to access other Libraries in Edinburgh.
