Swipe card access - Library visiting after staffed hours is restricted to swipe card access only. If you forget your physical card, you can contact security by pressing an intercom button next to the door.
Merchiston Library: Essential works
From Monday 18 May to Friday 4 September (inclusive) essential building works will take place in Merchiston Library. Zone 1, the area near the helpdesk, will remain open. *If you need books from Merchiston Library, please request them ahead of time using Click and Collect, and library staff will have books ready for you near the helpdesk.
**When help desks are closed, Library support will be provided by the NorMAN out of hours service. In this case you'll receive a response from e59.servicedesk@normanmanagedservices.ac.uk.

Merchiston Group Study Rooms: Please note that Rooms 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11 will be closed from 9pm to 9am. Find availability and book using Resource Booker.
