Access to free condoms with the C:card scheme

C:card offers a quick and easy way to get free condoms in Edinburgh and the Lothians. This free service is managed by NHS Lothian and facilitated by partner agencies in various settings, including our own Edinburgh Napier Students' Association.

How to get access to free condoms

C:card is a non-judgemental service which responds positively to everyone’s sexual health needs. This inclusive service is open to all people–straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. Everyone will be treated fairly and respectfully regardless of their gender, sexuality, ethnic origin or age. Most importantly, any information you give to a c:card service will remain private and confidential.

You can sign up directly on the c:card website or visit the ENSA office at your campus to get your card along with free condoms and lubricants.

If you live in the EH postcode area (Edinburgh & the Lothians) and are 13 or older, a small pack of condoms can be delivered straight to your home address. This will contain 12 condoms and some water-based lubricant. It will arrive within one week in a plain, unmarked A5 envelope.

If you require a specific product, e.g. non-latex condoms or dams, you can request them when filling in the delivery by post form.
