Accommodation

ELTE's Housing Office provides housing from the private market at a reasonable price. Students can also apply for a room at an ELTE dormitory and use the facilities of the students residence halls.

As a UK Erasmus student, for the 2021/22 academic year you are entitled to receive an Erasmus Grant. Guidance on funding for students undertaking exchange in the 2022/23 academic year will be added soon.

Transport

Budapest has an excellent public transportation system (BKK). The outer suburbs are also well served by HÉV trains (suburban railway). With a student card, you can get student discounts on Budapest's public transport.
