Student Guide

Accommodation

Students should make their own accommodation arrangements. Uniplaces and Student both have housing listings. It might be hard finding housing for one term because the French housing legislation calls for one-year leases.

Financial Support and Living Costs

As a UK Erasmus student, for the 2021/22 academic year you are entitled to receive an Erasmus Grant. Guidance on funding for students undertaking exchange in the 2022/23 academic year will be added soon.

Transport

There are a variety of different passes and reductions, if you plan to use regularly the forms of public transport available. Paris public transport is operated by the RATP and includes the métro subway system, trains and buses.
