Accommodation

Metropolia does not provide housing services. It is the student's responsibility to find suitable accommodation for the period of their studies. Many students of Metropolia live in HOAS's apartments.

As a UK Erasmus student, for the 2021/22 academic year you are entitled to receive an Erasmus Grant. Guidance on funding for students undertaking exchange in the 2022/23 academic year will be added soon.

Transport

The public transportation network is operated by HSL. It covers commuter trains, trams, metro, bus and some public ferries, such as the ferry to the Suomenlinna sea fortress. The same ticket works for all the means of transport, and you can get a student discount.
